It seems like it's been a while since Michigan received a commitment in football. Luckily, that changed today after Pennsylvania H-Back Christian Wilson decided to stop the wait and make his decision public.
Michigan has just gotten verbal commitment number 14 -- from Pa. H-Back/LB Christian Wilson (6-2, 220, 4.55) from McKees Rock (Pittsburgh area) Pa. Wilson told GBW's Sam Webb, "I'd been thinking about committing to Michigan for quite a while now, but I just needed to make sure Michigan uses their H-Back."Wilson has been a presumed lean to Michigan for a while now, but no one really expected him to make that known publicly this quickly. Regardless, he did and now brings U-M's 2008 recruiting class up to 14 commits.
I have a feeling that this may not be the last committment Michigan receives in the next couple weeks. There is another player that has been a presumed lean in a similar way that Wilson was, so stay tuned.
