We should know the details of the Michigan State game by this afternoon. The details I'm talking about are time and TV, which have been a big question mark for quite some time. With there being a chance that this game is on the Big Ten Network, you can bet everyone with Comcast and Charter will be on the edge of their seats while waiting for the details to be released.
My bet is that the game is a noon start on the BTN, but I do have a feeling this could end up as a night game on one of the ESPN family of networks somehow. I guess it'll come down to two things:
1) Would ESPN/ABC rather show this game over Wisconsin-Ohio State?
2) Would the Big Ten really want to limit the availability this much for such a big game when most of the state wouldn't be able to watch it? Normally I would say no, but it would up the complaints to Comcast even more than usual.
Stay tuned.
