Minnesota Game to Be Shown on WXYZ

It was just announced during WXYZ's (ABC Channel 7 in Detroit) sports segment on the news that the Minnesota game on Saturday will be shown on WXYZ. Original plans called for the game to be shown on ESPN Classic, which is unavailable to most as Comcast removed it from the basic cable package last summer. Since so many people couldn't watch it on ESPN Classic, it sounds like WXYZ came to some sort of agreement to televise the game directly from ESPN Classic. Basically, I don't think this game is now an ABC game, but the ESPN Classic version will just be shown on WXYZ.

I'll try to get more info on this change and will post it here in an update, but for now know that if you have WXYZ, you will get to see the game on Saturday.
