Starting middle linebacker Obi Ezeh was sentenced to one-year probation earlier this week for driving while visibly impaired. He also will have to spend three days in a jail work-release program as apart of his sentence.
The redshirt freshman linebacker had originally been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated stemming from an incident in early July, but the charges were later amended to operating a vehicle while visibly impaired.I doubt this will have any effect on Ezeh's playing time as the situation probably was dealt with by coaches back in July when the incident first happened. Because of that, he should still be the starter tomorrow against Michigan State.
Roumel said the sentence was very fair, even a bit lenient. He added that the Ezeh had offered to deal with some of the issues on his own and that Creal didn’t see a need for further alcohol counseling.

Again, a problem as a result of poor team discipline and structure. When guys do this they have no respect for themselves, the team, their teammates, coaches, family or the school. They also have no fear of "What the coach might think." This team needs strong leadership starting from the top down.
